Honeywell Engineering and Executive Management have partnered with Alarm Systems, Inc. at John Wood Community College for engineering studies involving school safety. Honeywell is in the final stages of engineering and testing of the Video Analytics for their Gun Shot Detection, Gun Detection, Crowd Behavior and Fight Detection systems. These systems are game changers for the advancement of security technology in schools today. By providing a much more affordable option than is currently available in the market now, the new analytics will allow access to life saving technology to all schools.

Honeywell Engineering, Alarm Systems, John Wood Chief of Police along with Quincy Police Department and Adams County Sheriff’s Department are coordinating the testing on campus this week.
